About the Author

Welcome to The Mythmaker’s Notebook, a corner of the world where stories are built. These are meant to give you a place to escape our harsh world for a few short minutes and step into a reality much cooler than our own.

I’m Dalton Wyers, a storyteller who can’t leave a good question alone. I have a weakness for ancient legends, improbable futures, and the tension between the two. This is where those fascinations collide. Some days that means starfaring civilizations grappling with impossible distances. Other days it means gods who never quite left, dragons with inconvenient opinions, or forests that remember more than they should.

Here, imagination isn’t treated as decoration but as architecture. Every post is a look at another piece of a world in motion. A starship threading the seams of time. A warrior carrying an old myth into new skies. A villain convinced they’re the only sane one in the story. Fantasy and science fiction meet not as opposites, but as two tools in the same box.

I believe that stories matter not only because they let us escape reality, but because they help us understand it. Worlds reflect us, heroes challenge us, and the unknown invites us to ask better questions. If that resonates with you, then you’re in the right place.

Thanks for stopping by. The journey is still gathering momentum, and I’m glad to have companions along the way. Let’s see what kind of worlds we can build together.
